FAYETTEVILLE – Friday’s game between the University of Arkansas softball team and Texas A&M has been postponed due to expected rain showers throughout the evening and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday at Bogle Park. Game one of the twin bill is scheduled for a 1 p.m. (CT) start with game two to begin approximately 30 minutes following the end of the opener.
The Razorbacks enter the weekend with a 23-11 overall record and a 2-4 mark in Southeastern Conference play. This weekend’s series against the Aggies is part of a four-game home stand that includes a Tuesday matchup with Missouri State. Texas A&M currently stands at 23-9 overall and 4-5 in league play. The two programs have met nine previous times but will be playing in Fayetteville for the first time.
Saturday’s opener will also be the Razorbacks’ Pink Game with fans wearing pink to the game receiving free admission at Bogle Park. The first 250 fans will also receive a free Razorback color-change cup.
