SEC Announces TV Times For Gymnastics

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Southeastern Conference released meet times and television networks Thursday afternoon for the upcoming 2018 gymnastics season, featuring three Arkansas league matchups on national television.

Arkansas opens the season in Baton Rouge, La., against the defending SEC champion and national runner-up LSU Tigers. The Razorbacks and Tigers start regular season conference competition as the first televised meet of the season on the SEC Network Jan. 5 beginning at 7 p.m.

The Razorbacks’ only televised home meet is Jan. 26 against the Georgia Bulldogs beginning at 6 p.m. on the SEC Network. Arkansas concludes conference play against Florida in Gainesville Feb. 23 at 6:45 p.m. The conference finale will air live on the SEC Network+ via the WatchESPN app and will air on ESPNU via tape delay Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.

SEC Championship
The SEC Championship is slated for March 24 in St. Louis, Mo. with the first session beginning at 2 p.m. and the second at 6 p.m. The first session will air on the SEC Network with the second on ESPN2.

Season Tickets
The ticket office is now accepting renewals and new season ticket purchases for the upcoming 2018 season. The season ticket renewal deadline is Wednesday Nov. 29. Fans have the option to purchase reserved or general admission seating. Single-meet tickets will go on sale at a later date. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 1-800-982-4647 or by visiting ArkansasRazorbacks.com.

The Razorbacks bring back ten gymnasts from the 2017 season including All-American Amanda Wellick and NCAA Individual participants Braie Speed and Jessica Yamzon. Among the newcomers, Arkansas has five freshman who were all level 10 gymnasts before joining the Razorbacks.

Fans will get a preview of the upcoming season December 17, with an open Holidays With The Hogs intrasquad meet inside Barnhill Arena. The meet will be free and open to the public with doors opening at 4 p.m. It will be the first time the Razorbacks will perform full routines while being judged in front of fans.
