Overall, Hiers is second on the team with a .337 batting average and seven home runs. She is just behind freshman Ashley Diaz who is hitting .419 this season with 10 home runs and 32 RBI.

Texas A&M represents the Razorbacks’ fourth ranked opponent of the season, and third in three weekends of league play. The Aggies are hitting .334 as a team with Tori Vidales leading the way and tied for 14th in the SEC with her .409 mark. She is part of a Texas A&M lineup that is tied for the conference lead with 48 home runs. Arkansas is fourth in the conference with 36 home runs of their own. In the circle, Samantha Show is 16-5 with a 3.33 ERA for the Aggies.
