FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas is set to host the 2010 Southeastern Conference Softball Tournament, May 13-15 at Bogle Park.
The three-day event will feature the top eight teams in the SEC, many of whom rank in the Top 25 nationally in both the ESPN/USA Softball and USA Today/NFCA collegiate softball polls.
Single-session tickets will be available beginning May 13 are avaliable at the stadium box office only. Currently, only all-session general admission tickets are on sale. Single-game group tickets for groups of 12 or more are also available.
The ticket booth will open one hour prior to the first game of each day.
Tickets prices will be as follows:
All Session General Admission: $15 Adult/$8 Youth
Single Game General Admission: $8 Adult/$4 Youth
Single Game Group (12 or more:) $2
Arkansas (28-25, 10-15 SEC) is currently in seventh place overall in the conference after taking two of three from Ole Miss at home over the weekend. The Razorbacks were led in the circle by freshman Hope McLemore who picked up two wins on Saturday and at the plate by freshman Courtney Breault who finished the series with a team-high .714 batting average, five hits, 7 RBIs, two home runs, a 1.571 slugging percentage and a .700 on-base percentage.
The Razorbacks will wrap up conference play this weekend when they travel to Auburn, Ala., for a three-game series with the Tigers. First pitch for Saturday’s doubleheader and Sunday’s single game are both schedule for 1 p.m.
The SEC Tournament bracket will be announced Sunday night after the completion of all scheduled games.
