SEC Tennis Tournament washed again

Tuscaloosa, Ala.- Periodic rain in the region pushed pause on the University of Arkansas women’s tennis team’s opening round match of the SEC Tournament against South Carolina for the second time on Thursday afternoon. The match originally was rescheduled for a start time 4:30 before a separate system moved through the area, postponing play again midway through singles matches. In those doubles matches, Karina Ledaja and Maryori Franco were leading South Carolina’s Danielle Wiggins and Miranda Gutierrez 5-4 on court one. On court three, Audrey Bordeleau and Iliana Pacheco were knotted at four games apiece to USC’s Laura Ganzer and Fallon Koon. Vlatka Jovanovic and Melissa Cornett were down 5-2 on court two.
