FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – “On the Air with Bret Bielema,” Coach Bielema’s weekly radio show presented by AT&T and West Rock Coffee Company, returns on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Catfish Hole.
This week’s show will feature the senior duo of quarterback Austin Allen and defensive back De’Andre Coley as the Razorbacks prepare to host Missouri on Friday in the fourth annual Battle Line Rivalry presented by Shelter Insurance. Friday will also serve as Senior Day for the Razorbacks. The program’s 16 seniors will be recognized in a special ceremony prior to the 1:30 p.m. kickoff.
Live from the Catfish Hole for the ninth straight year, Chuck Barrett, the voice of the Razorbacks, will host Coach Bielema on the one-hour show. Fans can make reservations to attend the show by calling the Catfish Hole at 479-521-7008. Tickets are $25 and include an all you can eat dinner buffet with catfish, shrimp and chicken.
Allen will make his 21st career start Friday against the Tigers, marking the 59th game in the last six seasons that an Allen has started at quarterback for the Razorbacks. Austin and his brother Brandon have a combined 12,195 passing yards and 105 total TDs (98 passing) at Arkansas. The SEC’s leader in passing yards a year ago, Austin has thrown for 4,732 yards and 34 touchdowns in his career.
Coley, a Miami native, returned to the field last Saturday after missing the previous four games with an ankle injury. For his career, he has played in 43 games with six starts, 71 total tackles, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
The show will be carried throughout the state of Arkansas on the Razorback Sports Network and locally in Fayetteville on 99.5 FM, 92.1 FM and 93.3 FM.
