Single-game baseball tickets now on sale

FAYETTEVILLE – Single-game baseball tickets for Arkansas’ remaining 30 home games during the 2011 season are now on sale. Tickets are $10 for reserved seating and can be purchased by calling 1-800-982-HOGS (4647), by visiting the online ticket center at ArkansasRazorbacks.com or on gameday at Baum Stadium, while supplies last.The Razorbacks are coming off an opening-weekend series that saw the team set new opening-day and opening-series attendance records. For the regular season opener on February 18, attendance was announced at 8,602 (paid) and 7,526 (actual), both new opening day records. Over the three-game weekend series against Delaware State, attendance numbers were 24,326 (paid) and 20,443 (actual), with both being records for a season-opening series.Several ranked teams are scheduled to come to Baum Stadium this season. In conference play, No. 1 Florida (May 5-7), No. 3 Vanderbilt (March 25-27) and No. 20 LSU (April 8-10) will all play three-game series in Fayetteville later this season. In midweek action, No. 5 Oklahoma comes to town on Tuesday, March 29.Razorback fans also have the opportunity to reserve the Foul Pole Patio for select games. The Foul Pole Patio, which includes a minimum of 50 tickets, can be reserved by calling 479-575-3517. Along with the 50 game tickets, the Foul Pole Patio includes three parking passes, access to the area two hours pregame and postgame, 40 bar seats and a picnic area.
