Smith rocks Missouri All-Stars named MVP

University of Arkansas basketball signee Tanisha Smith played her final prep game in her home state, and made a statement for the Lady Razorbacks by dominating theSt. John’s Sports Medicine All-Star Game this past weekend.

Smith tore into the large classification all-stars for 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the White team to a 78-68 win at the Hammons Student Center on the campus of Missouri State.

The WBCA High School All-America honorable mention swing player scored 21 of her 26 points in the first two quarters of the game.

Smith’s performance jump-started the White team, that launched a 29-7 run over the end of the third and start of the fourth quarters to win the game.

The former Lincoln Prep standout from Kansas City is one of six newcomers for the Lady Razorbacks this fall.
