Soccer Treks North for First Road Trip
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorbacks head to the Northeast for matchups with Yale and Penn State over the weekend. The road trip includes a stop in New Haven, Conn., on Friday, Aug. 28 and then a trip to State College, Pa., on Saturday, Aug. 30.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?
With a win over Yale, Arkansas would move to 3-0-0 for the third time in the last four seasons. Two wins would put the team at 4-0-0 for only the second time in program history. The Razorbacks longest undefeated start was in 2013, when they began the year 7-0-0.
ARKANSAS QUICK KICKS
• Yale and Penn State are two teams who the Razorbacks have never faced. Both meetings will be the first in program history.
• In fact, these two matches will be the first the Razorbacks have ever played in the states of Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
• The Razorbacks received nine votes in the 8/25 edition of the NSCAA top 25 poll after not being ranked in the preseason.
• Arkansas moved from No. 9 to No. 5 in the NSCAA south poll behind four SEC teams: Texas A&M, USC, Auburn and Florida.
• Gabriella DeLeon and Claire Kelley each have two goals so far, which ties them for tops in the SEC thru the first week of play.
• Arkansas conceded zero corner kicks to SFA in the 4-1 win, it was the fewest since the team allowed one at VU on 10/18/13.
• Through two matches, Erika Miller (166) and Lindsey Mayo (160) lead Arkansas in minutes. They each played all 90 against TCU.
• The Razorbacks’ 1-0 win over TCU was Colby Hale’s 35th since taking over the helm, moving him to second in program history.
• With a pair of victories in their opening weekend matches, the Razorbacks moved to 2-0-0 for the fourth consecutive season.
• After their 4-1 win over SFA, the Razorbacks are now 20-10-0 all-time in home-opening matches, including 13-2-0 since 2001.

A trip to Houston is on deck for Arkansas, as the team faces off against Rice on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. The only other time the Razorbacks and the Owls have ever matched up was last year in Fayetteville, when the two played to a 0-0 draw.
