FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas soccer team continues its spring schedule on Saturday, April 13, with an Alumni game at Razorback Field followed by a match against Memphis on Sunday, April 14.
Arkansas opens the weekend on Saturday at noon at Razorback Field when a group of alumni return to Fayetteville to play the current Razorbacks. At least 13 former student-athletes are scheduled to compete in the game with a few more planning to make the trip. Following the game on Saturday, the Razorbacks head to Bryant, Ark., to play Memphis at Bryant High School. Kick off for the game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Razorbacks have been using the spring season to improve on head coach Colby Hale’s strategies and philosophies. The second-year head coach has been focused on his player’s effort on the field as well as their ability to adapt to different formations both in practice and in games as he sets his players up for what he hopes is an even better year in 2013.
So far this spring, the Razorbacks have taken on regional opponents Oklahoma, Tulsa and Oral Roberts and still have games with UMKC and Kansas scheduled for April 27.
