CAMP INFORMATION Winter Hitting Clinic

This clinic will focus on the basic fundamentals of hitting and bunting. This is a day clinic only. Campers must provide their own helmets and bats.

8:30 am:         Check-in
9:00 am:         Introductions
9:15 am:         Coach Pinkerton’s Hitting Philosophy – Swing Breakdown
9:45 am:        Hitting Drills for all Campers
11:30 am:        Basics of the Bunt – Why, When, and How
11:45 am:        Bunting Drills for all Campers
12:30 pm:        Camp Wrap-up


Summer Camp


Tentative Dates:        June 12-16, 2005
Ages:                        Athletes 10-18
Cost:                        Overnight Fee:        TBD – Includes housing, meals, and T-shirt
                        Extended Day Fee:        TBD – Includes lunch, dinner, and T-shirt.


Camp Philosophy:
Our camp is a general skills camp, and we base our camp on balance, good softball and great fun. We focus our camp on teaching game fundamentals and position strategies, and want our campers to leave with a love for the wonderful game of softball.


Camp Facilities:
Camp is scheduled to be held at Lady’Back Yard at the University of Arkansas. Indoor facilities include three indoor batting cages and an indoor football field-size pavilion, complete with turf.
