FAYETTEVILLE — After leading the No. 10 Razorbacks to a victory at the Aztec Invitational, sophomore Dominique Scott has been named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Runner of the Week, announced by the league office on Wednesday. A Capetown, South Africa native, Scott finished first out of the pack of the Razorbacks that were the race’s top eight finishers. Scott paced the Razorbacks with a finish of 17:33 en route to the team’s third perfect score of the season. The Razorbacks previously picked up a pair of perfect scores at Agri Park when the team hosted the Arkansas Duals meet. The Razorbacks now prepare for the 25th Annual Chile Pepper Festival which will be contested Oct. 5 at Agri Park in Fayetteville. The women’s 5K is slated for a 10:20 a.m. start.
