Southwest Classic kick off at 6:30 tonight

ARLINGTON, Texas — Stormy skies greet the inaugural Southwest Classic, but with the retractable roof closed tonight at Dallas Cowboys Stadium the weather will not be a problem.

Arkansas hosts Texas A&M on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2 as the Razorbacks were designated this year’s home team. Distant fans can listen to the game through RazorVision with Chuck Barrett, the Voice of the Razorbacks, starting with the pregame show at 3:30 p.m. Those unable to be near cable for ESPN2 can also access the streaming video of the game at ESPN360.com. Please verify your accounts and browser connectivity for both services well in advance of kickoff.

Only tickets in the $125 and $300 club area remain in the Arkansas allotment, and may be purchased at the stadium.

Rain is in the forecast for today — 80% according to National Weather Service. For the Arlington area page from NWS Fort Worth, jump here, and for DFW radar from NWS, jump here.

Arkansas’ official Twitter feed, @ArkRazorbacks, will have quarter and scoring updates today. The live blog is on the road for this "home event," and @RazorbackRoad will provide detailed play-by-play. However, @RazorbackRoad will not open until approximately one hour before kick off since it will not have the usual home game hosting duties of parking, traffic and stadium updates.

Parents, as you watch today’s game with your future Razorbacks, don’t forget to download this week’s Color the Game sheets for the kids.
