FAYETTEVILLE – Following Friday’s victory over No. 27 West Virginia and its third straight score of 196 or better, the Arkansas gymnastics team remains in the No. 12 position in the GymInfo national rankings.

The Razorbacks topped the Mountaineers 196.525-194.925 to improve to 7-3 overall. The seven dual-meet victories are a season record. Arkansas had already completed its Southeastern Conference schedule with a school-best 5-1 mark to earn a share of its first league regular-season championship.

Arkansas has scored 196 or more points in three straight meets, including the 196.70-196.10 win over No. 1 Florida and the 196.50-193.775 win at No. 45 Illinois-Chicago.

In Friday’s win over West Virginia, Arkansas scored 49 or more points in all four events for the second time this year.

In the events, the Razorbacks are No. 13 on vault, No. 19 on bars, No. 13 on beam and No. 11 on floor.

Individually, junior All-American Jaime Pisani, a two-time SEC Gymnast of the Week this year, is No. 7 in the all-around, No. 3 on floor and tied for No. 13 on vault. Freshman Katherine Grable is tied for No. 22 on floor, is No. 27 in the all-around and tied for No. 28 on beam. Sophomore Jordan Salsberg is tied for No. 34 in the all-around.

In the South Central Region rankings, Arkansas is No. 3 overall, No. 3 on vault, No. 3 on bars, No. 3 on beam and No. 4 on floor.

Individually, Pisani is No. 1 in the all-around, Grable is No. 5 and Salsberg No. 7.

On vault, Pisani is No. 3, Grable No. 15, Salsberg No. 23 and sophomore Kelci Lewis No. 29.

On bars, Pisani is tied for No. 5, senior All-American Michelle Stout is tied for No. 23 and Salsberg is tied for No. 25.

On beam, Grable is tied for No. 7, Pisani is No. 14, senior Stacy Bartlett is No. 19 and Salsberg No. 20.

On floor, Pisani is No. 1, Grable No. 7, and Lewis and freshman Bailee Zumwalde are tied for No. 25.

Arkansas closes its regular season this week with Saturday’s 5 p.m. meet at No. 18 Denver. The following Saturday, Arkansas competes in the SEC Championship in Birmingham, Ala.
