Student Access Passes sold out

FAYETTEVILLE —The University of Arkansas athletics department has sold out its allotment of the 2011 Razorback Student Access Pass for football and men’s basketball games, it was announced Tuesday. UA students may still purchase individual game student tickets as available for Razorback football and men’s basketball. Access Pass holders will have first right to seats for all home football games. Individual student tickets will be sold for $10 each, only if the Access Pass holders do not fill all seats. “We were excited to see the tremendous response from University of Arkansas students to the Student Access Pass,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “Student attendance at Razorback events is extremely important to the success of all of our programs. The Student Access Pass and our new RazorRewards program are just two of the ways we are reaching out to increase student involvement. We want to see the student section filled each and every time the Razorbacks compete.” Officials will distribute wristbands to Access Pass holders entering the student section to help determine a total count of students through the gates. Near kickoff, Razorback Ticket Office staff will determine if any student seats will be available to sell. At that time, tickets will be sold for $10 to students waiting in line at the student ticket tent located between gates 15-16 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Tickets will be sold first come-first served until the Ticket Office staff determines that the student section has reached capacity. Only students who purchased the Access Pass can claim student football tickets at Arkansas’ games taking place at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock(New Mexico — Sept. 10; Mississippi State — Nov. 19). Access Pass holders can claim tickets for these games beginning on Thursday at 9 a.m. of the week prior to the game. (Sept. 1 & Nov.10) Only the first 2,000 students to claim their tickets will be accommodated. Non Access Pass holders will only have the option of purchasing Little Rock tickets available to the general public.
