FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas students may purchase their 2013-14 Student Razorback Access pass beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013. Approximately 12,000 passes are available for purchase.
By purchasing the Access Pass, students receive the official Razorback Trough T-shirt and are eligible to attend a full year of Razorback sporting events for only $85. Students can receive full instructions about the pass and make their purchase directly from Razorback Athletics website by logging on to ArkansasRazorbacks.com/studenttickets.
The Student Razorback Access pass provides affordable opportunities to students who wish to attend athletic events. Unlike many of its peer institutions, the University of Arkansas does not charge a mandatory student athletics fee.
Important changes to the access pass program for 2013-14 are highlighted below:
Students will not purchase the pass from their ISIS account Associated Student Government (ASG) and Razorback Athletics have implemented the following staggered, priority order renewal program to eliminate website congestion while providing better customer service to students choosing to purchase the pass:
A. May 6-7 – Rising seniors who purchased the access pass during the 2012-13 season.
B. May 8-12 — All remaining students who purchased the 2012-13 access pass.
C. May 13-15 — All rising seniors, juniors and returning graduate students.
D. May 16 — All rising sophomores, incoming freshman and incoming graduate students.
Notes: Student classification determined by completed credit hours (including the 2013 spring semester). The Razorback Access Pass will continue to be available to all groups after their designated window until all passes are sold.
Students will also have the opportunity to add a
Collegiate Membership to the Razorback Foundation when purchasing the access pass. The $15 membership enhances the access pass by providing an exclusive event with Coach Bret Bielema, private practice with Coach Mike Anderson, Razorback Foundation rewards packet, early admission to select events and priority bowl game seating (only available to Razorback Access Pass holders) and more. ASG has approved the implementation of a lottery system to distribute men’s basketball tickets for select games that anticipated student demand could exceed the available 3,000 student seats. Additional details will be communicated. Students will be required to request a ticket for the selected “lottery” games determined by ASG and Athletics. If less than 3,000 tickets are requested, all students who requested a ticket will be guaranteed entrance. If more than 3,000 tickets are requested, a lottery system will be implemented to award tickets. Any student who attended each game prior to the “lottery” game will be guaranteed entrance.
Pass holders have first priority for 9,500 seats at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium for football games and for the 3,000 student seats at Bud Walton Arena for men’s basketball. They also have an opportunity to claim a free voucher for student seating for football games at War Memorial Stadium. In addition, students with a valid student ID may gain free admission to all regular season home events including in baseball, women’s basketball, gymnastics, soccer, softball, tennis and track and field.
A limited number of season spouse passes will be made available to access pass holders.
Football and men’s basketball games in Central Arkansas are also included with the access pass, but students must pick up a voucher to attend. The first 2,000 students with a voucher may access the student seating section at War Memorial Stadium. Details on the process to secure vouchers for the men’s basketball game at Verizon Arena will be announced at a later date.
