Sub-Committee Denies Baseball Players Appeals
BY ANDRES FOCIL
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Following an appeal hearing today, an NCAA Sub-Committee ruled that Scott Bridges and Casey Rowlett, two senior members of the University of Arkansas baseball team, will remain suspended for the 2005 season. The players were initially suspended on March 28, 2005.
Both Bridges and Rowlett stated they respect the decision, although they expressed disappointment in the outcome of the appeal. Both players said that they have enjoyed their time with the Razorback program, and wish the team well.
