Andrew Roberts currently serves as the Director of Business Operations for the Razorback Athletics department, after becoming part of the Business Office staff in August 2015. Andrew currently oversees the day-to-day operations of Accounting, Travel and Procurement. Before joining the Razorback staff, Roberts served as the Assistant Director for Financial Affairs at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL.
Andrew began his career at the University of Mississippi where he worked as a graduate assistant in the Athletic Business Office as he worked to complete his Masters in Accounting. At Ole Miss, Roberts assisted the CFO in the preparation of the annual budget as well as the NCAA and EADA reports and provided assistance to all Business Office staff. Upon graduation, Andrew worked as an intern for Ole Miss in a variety of roles including Event Management, Compliance, Business and Development.
In April of 2014, Andrew moved to the role of Athletics Accountant at the University of Miami. In his role, Roberts provided budget guidance to multiple sports, including primary budget responsibility for the Hurricane Baseball, Men’s Tennis, and Soccer programs. Andrew also oversaw the daily recording of donations to the Athletic program as well as ticket sales transactions. He also assisted on the preparation of annual NCAA and EADA reporting and assisted in the annual NCAA agreed-upon-procedures engagement. Andrew was promoted to the role of Assistant Director of Financial Operations at Miami in May 2015.
Andrew is an active Certified Public Accountant after receiving his license in November 2015. He completed his Bachelor of Accountancy in December 2011 and Master of Accountancy in May 2013, both from the University of Mississippi. Roberts is also a member of the Collegiate Athletic Business Management Association, currently serving on the Program Committee.
Andrew and his wife Maggie were married in April 2016 and currently reside in Fayetteville with their golden retriever Hadley.
