Sean Rochelle

Dr. Sean Rochelle has been associated with Razorback Athletics for 15 years. He has served as a graduate assistant coach for Ken Hatfield, Coordinator of Academic Support for Razorback Men’s Athletics, Director of Development for Athletics, and was named Executive Director of the Razorback Foundation in 2013.

Prior to joining the Foundation staff he was Assistant Athletic Director for development in women’s athletics and for the University of Arkansas athletic department. Additionally, he previously held the position of Associate Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations.

A two-time academic All-American football player at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM), Rochelle was named the co-offensive player of the year of the Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference in 1988. He was also inducted into the UAM Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 and was recognized with the UAM Alumni Award for Achievement and Merit in 2010. Before shifting to an academic and administrative career, Rochelle served as graduate assistant football coach at the University of Arkansas and Clemson under Ken Hatfield. He also served as defensive coordinator at UAM before holding the chair position in the exercise and sport science department at Azusa Pacific University.

A native of Elkins, AR, Rochelle earned his bachelor’s degree from UAM before obtaining master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Arkansas. He and his wife Caroline have three daughters, Abigail, Ellison and Lilly.
