Swatter's Club on Monday

FAYETTEVILLE – The second Swatter’s Club meeting of the 2011 baseball season will be held Monday, March 7, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Clarion Inn in Fayetteville.

Lunch will be served at 11:30. Following lunch, Arkansas baseball head coachDave Van Hornwill speak to the crowd and answer questions about the upcoming baseball season.

The cost to attend is $11, which includes the buffet and a drink. Swatter’s Club meetings will also be held on April 4 and May 2.

Arkansas has opened the season with an 8-1 record. The Razorbacks close their 11-game homestand with games on Saturday and Sunday against Wisconsin-Milwaukee. First pitch is set for 2:05 p.m. on Saturday and 1:05 p.m. on Sunday.
