FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas swimmer Julia Kucherich checked in with RazorVision to recap the team’s mid-season championship at the Missouri Invitational and discuss her senior season.
With a 4-0 dual meet record, the Razorbacks remain undefeated this season and have set a new school record with 14 consecutive dual-meet wins, breaking the record of 13 set from 1991-92.
Arkansas ended fall competition by winning the Missouri Invitational held in Columbia, Mo., from Nov. 21-23. The team placed first out of 11 teams with a total of 809 points, 111 points more than No. 22 Utah in second place and 112 points more than No. 20 Missouri.
Kucherich’s performance at the Missouri Invitational was highlighted by a third-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley with an NCAA ‘B’ cut time of 4:16.41
The Razorbacks will return to competition on Jan. 11 when the team faces Alabama and Kentucky in a double-dual meet in Tuscaloosa, Ala., at 11 a.m.
