Swimmers cancel trip to Mizzou

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Due to illness, the No. 18 University of Arkansas swimming and diving team has canceled its trip to Columbia, Mo. for the NCAA Last Chance Invite happening today. Sophomore Jamie Marks was scheduled to make the trip to Mizzou to improve her time in the 400 individual medley, in hopes of gaining ground towards an NCAA Championships bid.

Freshman Jillienne Schilling, while not looking to make a run at NCAAs, was going to the Invite to compete in the 200 free and 200 IM, two events she did not have the opportunity to compete in at the Southeastern Conference Championships last week in Auburn, Ala.

The Razorbacks (10-1, 3-1) will look ahead now to the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, March 12-15, also behind held at the Mizzou Aquatics Center in Columbia, Mo.
