This WeekThe No. 18 Razorbacks are in Auburn, Ala. for the SEC Championships, running Wednesday Feb. 18-Saturday Feb. 21.

Last Time OutEmily Fletcher, Sarah Howard, Shara Sutphen and Maddie Fogel competed at the Missouri Grand Prix in Columbia, Mo., Feb. 13-16. The swimmers set multiple best times and Howard and Sutphen scored in the 1,500 LC meter event. Howardfinished third in the event in a time of 17:25.91 and Sutphen was close behind, in fifth place, with a time of 17:33.96. 2008 Olympian Chloe Sutton won the race.

Record-breaking seasonThe 2008-09 Razorbacks made history with their win over Drury on Feb. 6, becoming the first team in program history to record 10 wins in a season. In the course of their historic 10-1 season, the Razorbacks posted victories over teams from then-No. 14 SMU, and No. 23 Missouri. Arkansas’ only loss came in their first dual meet of the season with then-No. 10 Tennessee, where they fell 197-103.

Razorbacks gear up for SEC ChampionshipsThe Razorbacks are in Auburn, Ala. for the SEC Championships. The team placed seventh at last season’s conference championships, up from ninth the year before. This year, coach Poppell hopes to continue the climb up the SEC rankings. At the meet, Arkansas will come up against some of its toughest competition of the season in teams including reigning NCAA champion and current-No. 1 Georgia and reigning SEC champion and current-No. 6, Auburn. Other top 25 teams competing at SEC Championships are Florida (5) and Tennessee (7).
