This WeekThe Razorbacks kick off the spring semester on Saturday, hosting No. 23 Missouri and fellow SEC foe Kentucky in a double dual meet at 2 p.m. at the Arkansas Natatorium.

Scouting KentuckyThe Kentucky women’s swimming and diving team wrapped up its fall slate with the Tennessee Invitational Nov. 19-22. Diver Jessie Snowden captured fi rst place on all three boards, while swimmers Claire Archibald and Megan Pulskamp led the way for the Blue and White between the lanes. UK enjoyed a fall that included numerous career best times and quality relay fi nishes. The Wildcats faced Tennessee, IUPUI, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Indiana in the fi rst half of their 2008-09 schedule and travel to LSU for their fi rst meet of the spring on Jan. 7.

Scouting MissouriThe No. 23 Missouri women enter the weekend with a 1-2 dual record on the season, with their lone victory coming against arch-rival Kansas. Missouri closed the 2008 portion of their schedule with a fi rst-place fi nish at the Mizzou Invitational, where the women recorded 26 new top-10 times over the course of the three-day event, which included fi ve school records. Senior captain Lori Halvorson registered four of those new school records, recording top times in the 100 free, 200 free, 200 IM and as a member of the 400 free relay team.

Last Time OutThe Razorbacks sent their divers and three swimmers to the Tiger Invitational in Columbia, Mo. Dec. 5-7. Senior diver Madison Palmer won the one-meter diving competition with a score of 289.75 and freshman Liana Bugslag (right) qualifi ed for Zone Diving Championships with a score of 240.25 in the platform event, placing second.
