This WeekArkansas swimming and diving hosts Drury in its final regular-season meet Saturday, Jan. 20 at 12 p.m. All home meets are held at the Arkansas Natatorium and admission is free to the public. RecapThe Lady Razorbacks earned two wins in their last double-dual meet against Denver and Missouri State. Arkansas overcame Denver by a score of 168-130 and defeated Missouri State, 185-115. The Lady’Backs have a 3-4 record in dual meets this season. Thibodeaux named SEC Swimmer of the Week Senior Kristen Thibodeaux earned Southeastern Conference Female Swimmer of the Week honors last week as she was victorious in the 200 and 500 freestyle races. This marked the first time in her career that she earned swimmer of the week honors and the first time she won two events in a single meet. Thibodeaux’s win in the 200 free was the first of her career in that event and her time of 1:54.60 was her second best time this year and the fourth best of her career. Thibodeaux earned her third win of the year in the 500 free. Diving DominatesArkansas dominated the boards Jan. 6, going 1-2-3 on the one meter and 1-2 on the three meter. Sophomore Madison Palmer scored a personal best 295.10 on the one meter, followed by Brieanne Kushner and Kellyn Williams. On the three meter, Kushner took top honors with a 304.29, trailed by Palmer with a 288.83.Gregory Wins TwoJunior Emily Gregory swept the butterfly events against Denver and Missouri State. Her top finishes came in 56.89 in the 100 fly and 2:06.05 in the 200 fly.Another VictorySophomore Summer Jackson earned another win for the Lady’Backs in the 100 breaststroke and placed second in the 50 free and the 100 free.Personal-Best TimesIn the 1,650 freestyle Elizabeth Engs took second and Macey Webb finished fourth both turning in career-best times of 17:33.17 and 17:38.79, respectively.Top TimesAfter five meets, the Lady Razorbacks turned in 51 individual-best times.Top FinishersSeveral Lady’Backs have two or more individual wins this season. Fulop enjoys nine victories, Gregory has seven, Thibodeaux has five, Jackson and Kushner have four each and Palmer lays claim to two.Palmer fourth on SEC Top Performers ListMadison Palmer ranks fourth on the SEC Women’s Top Performers List for one-meter diving with her score of 295.10 against Denver and Missouri State.About DruryThe Panthers returned 11 letterwinners and are led by head coach Brian Reynolds who holds a career women’s record of 78-55 at Drury. In the 2005-06 season the Panthers finished 4-3 in dual meets.
