This WeekThe Razorbacks are off this week before the Kansas Jayhawks come to the Arkansas Natatorium on Jan. 22 at 4 p.m.

Last Time OutThe Razorbacks opened the spring schedule with wins over Kentucky and No. 23 Missouri on Saturday at the Arkansas Natatorium. Arkansas swept passed the Wildcats 164-134 and downed the Tigers 159-141. In her debut as a Razorback, junior Yi Ting Siow won each of her three events (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM). Senior Stephanie Carr won two events at the meet (500 free, 1,000 free) Katie Kastes touched first in the 200 fly and Lynette Ng picked up the win in the 100 back.

Putting the Past Behind ThemArkansas’ wins over Kentucky and No. 23 Missouri ended lossing streaks against each team, spanning more than a decade. The Razorbacks had not beaten Missouri in a dual meet since the fall of 1994 and had not posted a win over the Wildcats since the fall of 1992.

Winning DebutThree-time Olympian Yi Ting Siow (right) competed in her first meet as a Razorback on Saturday against Kentucky and Missouri, winning all three of her events (100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM). Her time of 2:14.40 in the 200 breast is second-best in school history. In the 100 breast, Siow holds the third-best time in Arkansas history with a time of 1:03.04 and is fourth in the record books in the 200 IM with a time of 2:03.83.
