Team USA to appear on MLB Network

FAYETTEVILLE – The USA Baseball Collegiate National Team will appear on MLB Network this weekend as its two games against the USA 18U National Team will air on a tape-delayed basis on Saturday and Sunday. Friday’s game will air on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. (CT), while Saturday’s game will be shown on Sunday morning at 11 a.m.

In addition to the tape delay airing on MLB Network, live video of each game this weekend will be available on Game times are set for 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.

DJ Baxendale, Dominic Ficociello, Matt Reynolds and Ryne Stanek are playing for the Collegiate National Team this summer. Stanek is expected to be the starting pitcher for Friday night’s game against the 18U National Team. Also, Arkansas head coach Dave Van Horn is serving as an assistant coach for the Collegiate National Team.

The two games against the 18U National Team marks the final tune up for the Collegiate National Team before it opens a five-game series against Japan. The series against Japan opens on July 3 at 3:05 p.m. at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.
