Catching Up With @RazorbackWBB’s Ana-Carlota Faussurier…

The Daily Call caught up with Ana-Carlota Faussurier, who spent part of her summer as a part of Spain’s gold-medal U20 team. (Catch up on that news here.) Faussurier is originally from Yecla, Spain.

She described the final few seconds of the European Championship game in her native language.

Faussurier also answered some questions in English.

What are some differences between Spain and the United States?"Here, many people come to see the games. In Spain, only the parents come. Here there are many people that you don’t know, and they know who you are."

So the fans are different?"When we are signing something, they [fans] told me ‘You are from Spain!’ and I said ‘How do you know that?’ [laughs]."

How was your summer?"It was a complicated summer because I lived here in May, and I stayed two weekends at home. I went to practice with the Spanish team Under-20 and went to the European Championship with them. Then, I went to practice with the Under-19 team. Then I went to the World Championships, and stayed one day long. Then I came back here, and stayed here eight days and practiced. Then I went to Italy. Then I came back here. And I will stay here."

This feature on Faussurier will continue tomorrow as Faussurier describes her trip to Italy.
