@RazorbackWBB Improves To 11-0 With Big Win Over TulsaMcKenzie Adams scored a career-high 22 points and led three Razorbacks in double-digit scoring, as the University of Arkansas women’s basketball team ran away with an 81-43 win over Tulsa to improve to 11-0 last night. Adams was 6-for-7 from three-point range in the win, as the Razorbacks shot 60 percent from downtown as a group. Jessica Jackson and Keira Peak also reached double digits.

Three Razorbacks Voted Coaches’ All-SECTravis Swanson, Chris Smith and Trey Flowers were voted second-team All-SEC by the conference’s coaches, it was announced yesterday. Swanson earned his third recognition of the early week after Monday he was named a Rimington Trophy finalist and first-team All-SEC performer by the Associated Press.

Beard Honored As An Arkansan of the YearUniversity of Arkansas sophomore cheerleader Patience Beard was recognized yesterday as one of Arkansas Life’s 2013 Arkansans of the Year. Beard was formally honored at a luncheon at the Marriott Hotel in Little Rock along with seven other recipients of the prestigious honor.
Beard is among the inaugural class of Arkansans of the Year as selected by the Arkansas Life editorial team. Recipients were selected based on "their tireless commitment to making our state a better place to live." All the 2013 winners will be featured in the December issue of Arkansas Life.
