Razorback Student-Athletes Participate In Graduation ReceptionOn Wednesday Dec. 11, the University of Arkansas held a reception for graduating student-athletes. Associate Athletic Director Eric Wood, Senior Associate Athletic Director Jon Fagg, Assistant Director of Razorback Foundation Marvin Caston and senior fullback Kiero Small each gave remarks to the graduating class.
The baseball, football, men’s golf, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field and volleyball programs all had graduates in attendance.

Cornelius Signs With @RazorbackFBWide receiver Jared Cornelius from Evangel Christian in Shreveport, La., signed an Institutional Financial Aid Agreement yesterday. Cornelius is the third member of Arkansas’ 2014 class to sign an Institutional Financial Aid Agreement, joining cornerback Chris Murphy and quarterback Rafe Peavey. All three are expected to enroll in January and participate in spring practice with the Razorbacks.
For more information on Cornelius, click here. Athlon Recognizes @RazorbackFB FreshmenThe Razorbacks leads the nation with five student-athletes on Athlon Sports’ Freshman All-America teams. Arkansas, with four selections on offense, was the only team in the country with more than two offensive representatives. Running back Alex Collins and tight end Hunter Henry were first-team selections, defensive tackle Darius Philon earned second-team recognition and offensive guards Denver Kirkland and Dan Skipper were included on the third team. Collins also was ranked as the seventh-best freshman in the nation by Athlon.
Click here for the list of top 25 freshmen and here for the complete Freshman All-America teams. @RazorbackFB Places Two On ESPN All-SEC Underclassmen TeamYesterday ESPN.com SEC bloggers Edward Aschoff and Chris Low released their All-SEC Underclassmen Team, made up of the top true freshmen, redshirt freshmen and true sophomores in the conference. The list included two Razorbacks with tight end Hunter Henry and offensive lineman Denver Kirkland each earning a spot on the 26-person team.
