@RazorbackSwim’s Susanna White Named SEC Swimmer of the Week University of Arkansas junior Susanna White was named SEC Swimmer of the Week yesterday. The award followed an excellent performance by the Forest, Va., native at Missouri State on Nov. 9. White contributed to four event wins and two pool records in Springfield, Mo., to help Arkansas earn its fourth dual-meet victory of the season. Read the full release here.
@RazorbackWBBHosts Oral Roberts The 1-0 Razorback women’s basketball team will host Oral Roberts (1-1) tonight at 7 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks had a dominating 81-45 win over Sam Houston State on Friday, with the freshmen trio of Jessica Jackson, Kelsey Brooks and McKenzie Adams combining to score 50 points. Head coach Tom Collen is 4-0 all-time against Oral Roberts, most recently defeating the Eagles 65-37 during the 2011-12 season. For a full preview of tonight’s game, click here.

@RazorbackMBB and @RazorbackWBB Practice Facility To Break Ground Within Month Construction of the University of Arkasnas’ Basketball Performance Center will officially begin on Dec. 7, announced on Tuesday by Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long. Long, Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson and Arkansas head women’s basketball coach Tom Collen will be among those taking part in the festivities, which will be open to @ArkRazorbacks fans and members of the general public. D’Appollonio Burlsworth NomineeJunior snapper Alan D’Appollonio is one of 53 nominees for the Burlsworth Trophy, it was announced yesterday. The Burlsworth Trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding collegiate football player who began his career as a walk-on. Read the complete release here.

@RazorbackSoccer Teams Up for Susan G. KomenOn October 27, 2013 the Razorbacks teamed up with Susan G. Koman to host “Kick for the Cure”, raising more than $1,100 for the Ozark affiliate. Yesterday, members of the Razorback team presented the money raised to a representative from the Susan G. Komen Ozark office, which gives donations back to those affected by breast cancer right here in Northwest Arkansas.
@RazorbackTF Facility Gets A New Surface John McDonnell Field, home to Arkansas’ track and field program, has a new look as a surface renovation was unveiled on Monday. The brand new 115,000 square foot surface is a Super-X Performance track manufactured by Mondo and stands as one of only four International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) Class I certified track facilities in the United States.
