This week in Arkansas volleyball

Click here to meet some former Lady’Backs Hello Future Razorbacks! Today is an exciting day because for the first time all season long we had the whole team suited up for the entire practice! It has been difficult this year dealing with all of the injuries. The team, me included, has had to be enormously patient and I have perfected the art of creative line-ups which we have used in both practice and in matches. Kele Brewer, our 4 year starting outside hitter, has hobbled her way through most of preseason. After extensive physical therapy on her foot and many doctor visits, she played all the way through her first practice in weeks. Also, Christina Lawrence looks to be back in full force after knee surgery a month ago. Now with a full squad, we are eagerly looking forward to this upcoming weekend. Georgia has always been a fun and competitive match for us and South Carolina looks to be a conference surprise with upsetting Florida this past weekend. Our focus for this week is limiting our unforced errors and playing

mentally tough all through practice. I saw promising results today. We had lots of talk and energy with most of the players giving it their all throughout the afternoon. This weekend will be a great test and I am looking forward to the challenge. We are also excited that we have a five match home stretch starting on Friday versus Georgia.
