FAYETTEVILLE — Senior All-American Katherine Grable, sophomore Sydnie Dillard and freshman Samantha Nelson were named to the All-SEC Gymnastics Team, according to an announcement by the league office. Nelson was also named to the All-Freshman Team. The All-SEC Team is comprised of athletes with the top two scores (including ties) on each event and the all-around from the first and second sessions of the SEC Championship. The All-Freshman team consists of freshmen with the top score on each event from the first and second sessions of the championship meet. Ties were not broken. The All-Freshman Team also includes freshmen with the top two all-around scores (including ties) from the first and second sessions of the SEC Championship. Grable broke the program-record at the Southeastern Conference Championship in the all-around competition with a 39.55 and finished fourth in the all-around competition. She started off the meet with a 9.85 in the team’s first rotation on the bars and then followed with three-straight scores of 9.90 on the beam, floor and vault to match the program record in the SEC Championship on vault and beam. Grable finished the meet in the top-two on each event in Session I. Grable won the vault, beam, floor and all-around competitions in the Razorbacks’ session and finished second on the bars. Arkansas also had more gymnasts among the top-three places in Session I. Sophomore
Dillard finished second on the beam with a 9.85, which is the fifth-best score by a Razorback at the meet. Dillard also finished second on the floor with a 9.80. Freshman
Nelson finished second on the floor with a 9.80 and she was the top-freshman in Session I on the beam with a 9.80.
