Thursday Liberty Bowl report

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Arkansas Razorback football team continued AutoZone Liberty Bowl events in Memphis and practices at Memphis University School in Memphis, Tenn. on Thursday.

Thursday began with a trip to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for head coach Bobby Petrino and select members of the Razorback football team. The Razorbacks got a tour of the facility and greeted patients and staff.

Offensive coordinator Garrick McGee and select members of the offense conducted the offensive press conference at the Embassy Suites this afternoon.

Also on Thursday was the AutoZone Liberty Bowl awards luncheon. Representatives for each university spoke, along with representatives from the Southeastern Conference and Conference USA offices. Razorback sophomore defensive end Jake Bequette was named Arkansas’ AutoZone Liberty Bowl Scholar-Athlete.

The Razorbacks concluded Thursday with a two-hour practice at Memphis University School.
