Tickets Available For NCAA Gymnastics Regional
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Tickets for the 2017 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Regional in Barnhill Arena on Saturday, April 1, are on sale now through the Razorback Ticket Center. The teams, all-around competitors, and individual event specialists will be announced one week from today on March 20.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth 17 and under, and $5 for students at any college or university with student ID. Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 800-982-HOGS or 479-575-5151. All tickets are general admission.
Arkansas was one of six predetermined campus sites selected to host an NCAA regional, along with Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, Washington and West Virginia. The NCAA Fayetteville Regional will be held Saturday, April 1 at 4 p.m. in Barnhill Arena.
The championship field will include 36 teams determined by their regional qualifying score and seeded by the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Committee. In addition, 24 all-around competitors and 48 individual event specialists who are not on a qualifying team, will be selected to the six regional sites.
Each regional will consist of six teams, four individual all-around competitors (not on a qualifying team), and two individual specialists per event (not on a qualifying team).
Entering this weekend’s SEC Championship in Jacksonville, Arkansas ranks 26th in the nation with a regional qualifying score of 195.775. Arkansas will be hosting a regional for the first time since 2014 and for the fifth time in program history.
