FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas will play host to the 2011 SEC Indoor Track and Field Championships, held Feb. 25-27 at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. This will mark the sixth time the Razorbacks will welcome the conference’s best to their home facility since hosting for the first time during the 2000 indoor season.
Tickets can be purchased as a three-day package in advance or for a single day on site the day of the event. Reserved seating for the entire weekend is priced at $35 while the general admission tickets can be purchased for $25. Single-session reserved and general admission tickets are available for $20 and $15, respectively. Single-session tickets are not available for advance purchase.
At the 2010 conference meet, also held in Fayetteville, the Razorback men treated their home fans with a championship performance, claiming the program’s 17th SEC indoor crown and its second under head coach Chris Bucknam. Arkansas’ women turned in a runner-up showing with the help of three event titles, including the program’s first-ever wins in the 400 meters and 4×400-meter relay.
