Tipoff for the Arkansas-UAB contest is set for 7 p.m.

Arkansas basketball season ticket holders may purchase tickets through the Razorback Ticket Office by calling 1-800-982-HOGS (4647) and non-season ticket holders may obtain tickets through Ticketmaster with prices set at $25 per ticket plus fees.

"I am really excited about going back down to North Little Rock to play," Arkansas head coach John Pelphrey said. "The crowd is always exceptional and with this being a football weekend, I don’t expect that it will be any different this year. This is a wonderful opportunity for our passionate fans in central Arkansas to watch both the basketball and football teams on back-to-back days in their own back yard."

The Razorback men’s basketball team has played a game in Little Rock in nine of the past 11 seasons including each of the past four years. The 2009-10 season saw Baylor come to Verizon Arena with previous opponents including North Texas, Appalachian State, Texas Tech, Illinois, Jacksonville, Oklahoma State and Centenary.

Last season, UAB was ranked No. 24 as they entered Bud Walton Arena and a scrappy Razorback squad was on the verge of pulling off the upset until a last second bucket by the Blazers fell to give the road team a 73-72 victory. The Razorbacks were led by Marshawn Powell who tallied 22 points on 8-15 shooting and six free throws. Rotnei Clarke was also in double digits for the Razorbacks with 16 points.

Tickets for all other Razorback home men’s basketball games can be purchased at the Razorback Ticket Office. For a complete 2010-11 schedule, please visit ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
