FAYETTEVILLE – Seventy-five University of Arkansas student-athletes took time outof their schedules to participate in a Special Olympics program April 9.

The event took place at the Fayetteville High School track. Student-Athletes lead a warm-up and stretches for the competitors, helped coordinate teams to their appropriate events, and interacted with competitors, encouraging them throughout their events.

Special Olympics Arkansas is a non-profit organization, providing approximately 14,000 individuals withintellectual disabilitiesthe opportunity to excel.
