Tina Sutej ties national record

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Arkansas Razorback freshman Tina Sutej, a pole vaulter on the women’s track and field team, tied her nation’s senior national record in the pole vault Friday at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational.

Sutej, a native of Ljubljana, Slovenia, cleared 13-9.25 to earn a runner-up finish, to teammate Katie Stripling, in the championship flight at the Armory Track Center on Friday.
