Track Hogs Look to Qualify More Athletes at La
AMES, Iowa – The defending national champion Arkansas men’s track team will look to qualify a few more athletes this weekend in Ames, Iowa at the Last Chance Meet.

“We want to qualify both relays, that is the key,” head coach John McDonnell said. “We need to get both relays and hopefully Lavar Miller in the triple jump.”

The Hogs have five people automatically qualified in seven events. The Hogs have a number of provisional qualifiers that will look to improve their times.

“We would like to also have a couple more hurdlers get in,” McDonnell said. “They ran very competitively in conference and they love to compete at home.”

The last chance meet begins Friday afternoon and will conclude Friday evening.
