FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas women’s basketball team broke from it’s busy pre-compeition schedule to join kids of all ages in trick-or-treating fun on the Fayetteville Square Monday afternoon.

All 14 team members and coaches were out signing autographs and handing out candy to ghosts and goblins of all types on the sunny afternoon.

"Well, it’s great to get out and meet fans of all ages and help celebrate the holiday," Arkansas head coach Tom Collen said. "Our players really enjoy that interaction and the sense of community you get from an event like this."

Arkansas returns to the hardwood for a Tuesday workout before hosting Newman University in the lone exhibition game Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bud Walton Arena.

Tickets for the 2011-12 season are available at the Razorback Ticket Center or online.
