Mirroring its start in the second, Arkansas got out to a 6-0 advantage in the third and led throughout. The Razorbacks saved their best offensive numbers for the set, posting a .387 figure on their way to taking a 2-1 match lead. The lead reached as high as nine at 22-13 before Arkansas clinched the set with a Chicago State service error.

The score was tied as late as 22-all when Arkansas reeled off three in a row to secure its first win of the season. On match point, Harbin and Jusino combined for the Razorbacks’ 10th total block. Rachel Rippee set up match point with her second service ace of the match. She has two aces in each of the last four matches.
