JOHNSON – Future University of Arkansas women’s golfer Emily Tubert is getting a preview of her future home course playing at Blessings at the AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions in Johnson, Ark.

Tubert is fresh off the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links title and opened with two-over 74 and finished the first day tied for sixth.

She rallied tying for the lead after the second round of play shooting an even par-72 (74-72=146) with four birdies in the round. Tubert birdied the second, fourth, 11th and 14th holes in the second round of the four-day event.

Tubert is tied for the lead with a 146 matching Kristen Park who carded back-to-back rounds of 73. The duo have a two-shot lead over Rachel Morris with a four-over 148 for two rounds of play.

The AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions is the longest running event on the AJGA circuit at 33 years and continues through Friday.
