FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings came out on Tuesday and the Arkansas Razorbacks will put their No. 35 national ranking on the line Wednesday when they play host to Oral Roberts in not one, but two matches. Arkansas, 5-1, and the Golden Eagles will play a regular dual match at 1:30 in the Dills Indoor Tennis Center and following a short break, will play the six singles contests in the second match. If the second match is tied following singles play, the teams will play doubles. Arkansas is led by sophomore Adrians Zguns, who moved up to No. 12 in Tuesday’s ITA singles rankings. Zguns is 21-4, playing the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions. The Razorbacks are also led by senior Nathan Price, who is ranked No. 76 in the nation and has a 21-6 mark at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Junior Imraan Ismail is 10-6, sophomore Matt Roberts is 8-6, sophomore Rohan Gajjar is 8-7, senior Talley Parker 6-6 and freshman Matt Simpson 3-3. ORU, the defending Mid-Continent Conference champion, is 0-5. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 6-1 loss to Southwest Missouri State on Saturday. Arkansas is coming off Friday’s 7-0 home win over Wichita State. Following the two ORU matches, Arkansas faces Oklahoma State on Saturday in Tulsa.
