FAYETTEVILLE – The 6th-ranked University of Arkansas football team practiced inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for its final home game of the season against Mississippi State.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Garrick McGee spoke with the media after the practice and talked about what he expects the team to work on as it gets ready for the Bulldogs.
"It’s the same routine we always do," Coach McGee said. "Nothing is changing for us. It’s a process, but we’re looking to work hard this week just like any other week."
Coach McGee also discussed this weekend’s opponent in depth and what he expects to see from the Mississippi State defense on Saturday.
"They have multiple pressures," Coach McGee said. "It’s the same style and philosophy that they had last year. They’re going to try to make it as confusing as possible on us. They give a lot of looks and pressures that aren’t conventional."
Kickoff for Saturday’s game in War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark., is set for 2:30 p.m. and will be televised on CBS.
