FAYETTEVILLE- The 7th-ranked Arkansas Razorback football team practiced inside Walker Pavilion Saturday morning as it continued to prepare for its game against 11th-ranked Kansas State in the 76th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
Head coach Bobby Petrino met with the media after practice and talked about how proud he was of the three players who received their college degrees today.
"We had three guys to get their degree today and four others who have already received their degree on our team," Coach Petrino said. "That is what it is all about, being a student-athlete and getting your degree."
Coach Petrino also commented on the enthusiasm during practice.
"Practice is going well," Petrino said. "The guys have a lot of energy and focus has been good. We have had two good physical practices and we are encouraged from what we have seen."
The 76th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Jan. 6 inside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be televised nationally on Fox.
