UA Volleyball Guide Sixth In The Nation

FAYETTEVILLE — The 2005 edition of the University of Arkansas volleyball media guide was recognized by the College of Sports Information Directors of America as the sixth-best in the nation this week. The annual media guide features 88 pages of biographies, statistics, program history, honors and awards for the Lady Razorback volleyball team. The sixth-place national finish is the best finish for the volleyball publication in recent years and includes a second-place finish in District 6. This year’s media guide was written and edited by assistant communications director Jeri Thorpe with editorial and design assistance from Associate Athletic Director Bill Smith and Administrative Assistant Rebecca Hancock. Texas A&M University won the contest followed by Notre Dame, Fresno State, Ohio State and Kansas State. The volleyball media guide is one of 10 annual media guides produced by the Women’s Communications Office. The award-winning publication is available to view and purchase on-line at LADYBACKS.COM.
