Final Results

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In the final weekend of regular season competition several Razorbacks from the No. 4 Arkansas women’s track and field team collected personal best marks on Friday evening. Freshman Tori Weeks was the star of the night with her clearance of 4.40m/14-5.25 at the Arkansas Qualifier in the Randal Tyson Track Center.

One of two top 10 nationally-ranked freshmen heading into the meet, Weeks moved up three spots joining her sister Lexi inside the top five with a first attempt clearance at the aforementioned 4.40m/14-5.25. The Cabot, Ark. native had a previous lifetime best of 4.36m/14-4, the national high school indoor record. Weeks heads into her first SEC Championship next weekend at No. 2 in the conference and No. 5 in the nation.

Another Arkansan lit up the track in a new event this evening as Payton Stumbaugh placed second in her first 400-meter dash of the season. Nationally recognized for her performances in the pentathlon and 60-meter hurdles, Stumbaugh raced to a sub-54.00 time at 400 meters collecting a new PR of 53.42. The time ranks Stumbaugh among the top 25 best collegians in the nation in the event.
