Wolf Run Intercollegiate Up Next for Arkansas Golf

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorback golf team will compete at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Indiana beginning Saturday. The event will be played at the par-71, 7,195-yard course at the Wolf Run Golf Club in Zionsville, Ind.

Andrew Landry, Barrett Lais and David Lingmerth will be competing in their second event after opening the season last weekend at the Gopher Invitational. Landry was UA’s top finisher with a tied-for-ninth-place finish. It was his 10th top-10 finish during his career at Arkansas. He was followed closely by Lais and Lingmerth who were two of five golfers tied at 11th place.

They will be joined by junior Jason Turner and freshman Alan Lee, both making their first appearances in the lineup this season. Turner carded a 74.78 scoring average over nine events played last season for the Razorbacks. Lee will be playing in his first collegiate tournament.

Arkansas will play in Group 1 with the teams from Indiana and Virginia. Along with the threesome and Southeastern Conference opponent Kentucky, the field includes Ball State, Denver, Eastern Michigan, IUPUI, Kent State, Michigan, Missouri, Northwestern, Penn State, Toledo and UNC-Greensboro.

Last weekend at the Gopher Invitational, the season-opening event for the Razorbacks, the team finished in a tie for second place with Wisconsin after posting a 26-over-par 890.
