NEW YORK – The University of Arkansas women’s track and field team won the Armory Collegiate Invitational over the weekend. The No. 6 Razorbacks earned the victory out of 150 participating teams.
On the heels of a record-setting performance on day one of the Armory Collegiate Invitational, the No. 6 Arkansas women’s track and field team wrapped up competition on Saturday adding two more event titles.
Regine Williams won the 200-meter dash in 23.59 and earned a third-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.41. Chrishuna Williams placed fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.84. Stephanie Brown earned a top finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.91.
The Razorbacks will be back in action February 14-15 as Arkansas hosts the Tyson Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center.
